Ya, i was riding in a svt focus and it had a stock 8" and it sounded pretty good, but 10+ will give you the deep bass, 8s are more for mids.. But its better then nothing. I have 2x 10" in mine. Somtimes its to much in a SC. lol.

nice setup! I just put a 12" infinty in mine a few days ago, sounds great, but it's in a big bulky box taking up half the rear bench. Just curious did you custom fab your box or buy it? If so from where, who makes it and how much? thanks

prefab box. i found a good price on audio n more.com. if your hungry for some poundage, due to a tight budget i couldn't afford it, they have a sweet single piece that will hold two 10's on each side and the jack in the middle. it is totally hidden under the bench seats. my box fits just inside the hole on the driver side bench.
i paid just under $250.00 including the speaker/shipping. i could have saved $$ by buying the speaker elsewhere. i think just the box it self is $120. it is worth it because it is hidden and you can't buy it anywhere.
the guy at audionmore was helpfull when i accidently purchased the thing twice. my only complaint is it took them a long time to get it sent out.(25 days![>:]) once i had a ups tracking number it was on my door step in two days. now that it's in i have no buyer's regret.

Thats cool. I woulda went bigger. I got a stealth box on my quad cab, they are usually expensive. I went to our car audio store here and they said like 350 or more. So I said, thats ok, I'll get it off the internet. About 2 weeks later I found my 10" stealth box for 100 on ebay. The great thing is, you cant see the box and I dont lose any seating. But just getting a good sounding stero back in the ride is somethimes worth it.

Good to know. I was looking into getting a MTX thunderform that will hld 2 10's under the seat and not take up any space. It includes the cupholders and all. I found one for anywhere from $250-350 pre-loaded with subs. This summer when i'm working i'll prolly pick one up.. But now that i have a good sound insode i wanna get a good sound outside... the flowmaster comes next!
