Default 02 dakota with 100k miles

my buddy picked up an 02 dakota, 100k miles on it, truck looks immaculate, was taken good care of since his late grandfather owned it, is it worth keeping?

Hell yea i just turned 1oo miles on my 01 dakota still runs strong.

Its all about the maintence

3.9, taps like all the others, just like mine and everyone elses, he said it still runs like new, so i dont see a problem with it

The are good trucks. I got mine a year ago with 88k and I just turned 100 last month. Itjuts keeps purring. I love it.

a buddy of mine had a pre-magnum 3.9 and towed a 5,000 lb trailer at least once a week up to 230,000 miles. this was in Kansas, so no hills, but still... His was traded due to steering issues and body rot. he figured it better just to get another. motor was still going strong, along with the tranny. all he did was regular maintenance. but, in all fairness, i doubt the pedal ever hit the floor.

well just look at my truck 195000miles body is in great shape and only minor problems with anything else, so yea these things last forever if they are maintained
