I built my own. topic here somewhere, I'll find it real quick.

edit- here you go. 70W visonik sub amp and a 100 watt 10" Jensen. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...io-system.html

The theory on downfiring with skirts, is that it puts the sub into a hybrid bandpass setup. I tuned it pretty close to 20hz on the box side, I treated it as a ported chamber (the port was .75" thick x .75" diameter, ie, hole the wire goes in) and the bandpass part means it resonates off another surface, amplifying the sound coming out of it.

nice recommendation..liking the way it looks and looks to fit in the stock storage areas, guessing there has to be a little modification to fit the sub seeing as right now the housing holds a tire iron and lift.

I have the MTX setup...maybe not that brand...but it works nice. I did have trouble fitting a sub in there tho. It was too deep. So I made tapered half moon rings and it worked great! As far as what you keep under there, I just have a small Al truck box I keep...Sometime I'll get a good head unit!

get a little sub tube and just mount on the floor in the back, sub tubes are decent on bass with a built in amplifier, i have one but it's not in my truck anymore. i loved that thing. has just the right bump to it

The Bazooka tubes? Yea they're pretty good, but pricey. I think my setup cost $75 total- 30 for the amp (pawn shop), $30 for the sub (from a friend), and $15 of MDF.

Bazooka tubes are nice had one without the amp in my car before i got the dak. Cheap and easy to install too, might pick up the one with the amp inside this time for the truck since its a lot easier and pretty cheap. Also @magnethead you got a great deal, congrats. Got any pics?

@Blown- I've been looking at the link you posted and it says no modification required. But if nothing is required i dont see how it would fit in the stock housing under the seat. Unless you have to rip out the entire back plastic piece and put theirs in with the sub.
