Dakota Problem
I have created a couple of forums about this problem but still haven't fixed it. My 98 Dakota 5.2l has a stalling problem. I put a remanufactured motor in it and it had a stalling problem. Replaced the CPS, TPS, and IAC. It ran good for two months and now it is back.
It will idle in park and you can rev it up and it will recover and stay running. When driving it will recover sometimes and stall others. When it stall it wont idle in neutral when you start it back up. You have to give it gas to start it and to keep it running.
Any thoughts on what it could be? Any help would be appriciated

I had this happen once while idling in line at the dump right after I bought my truck. I tried to ignore it because I was in denial and didn't want something to be wrong already.
I took apart the throttle body and it was filthy...Cleaned it with carb cleaner and it's been fine since.
1 - Clean the throttle body & sensors.
2 - New air filter.
3 - Pour a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in your tank.
4 - My PCV valve was broken...I replaced it. I have no idea if there's a related issue or not?

Have you checked for vacuum leaks?
