Starting the build process

Ended up with 0.155 of converter clearance with the 1/4" midplate plus an .065 shim. New converter uses 7/16-20 converter bolts, ARP says 55 ft-lb, I say no way. I couldn't get past 40 safely.

Eighty-Three and one-quarter inches....... Take this and add 2" for the width of the carrier and 1/2" for how far the splines stick out past the seal.

Need to order another set of BBK 1118 O2 sensor harness extensions. They're only 12", use one for the right front and extend one to 3 feet for the other rear sensor...still need to have exhaust made though. That will make the 5 O2 sensor codes go away, leaving the 4 transmission codes. I stole the sensors/solenoids from the 42RE to plug into the harness and zip-tie to the frame rail, which along with some tuning magic, should make all the codes go away (0720 is the only concerning one).
P0031 - Not listed in FSM (O2 heater?)
P0743 - Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid/ Trans Relay Circuits
P0753 - Trans 3-4 Shift Sol/Trans Relay Circuits
P0051 - Not listed in FSM (O2 heater?)
P0132 - 1/1 O2 Sensor Shorted To Voltage
P0152 - 2/1 O2 Sensor Shorted To Voltage
P0138 - 1/2 O2 Sensor Shorted To Voltage
P0720 - Low Output Spd Sensor RPM Above 15 mph
P1763 - Governor Pressure Sensor Volts Too Hi

That's the plan. If it doesn't work, plan B is finding/ordering a 2000+ 3.9/5 speed computer. But hoping this will work at least to pass inspection, since I'll already be needing a 2000+ 5.2/5 speed PCM for the V8 swap.
