maybe next year I'am going to buy a new durango and I need this info, I actually have a 05 QC's ram 4.7 L, and had 16 mpg hwy

I have an '04 HEMI with 44K miles. I've been getting 18-20 Hwy and 16 mpg around town since it was new. I burn only Super or Plus. I jsut put a K&N filter and mpg has gone up about 2 mpg. A lot of your mpg will depend on how you break it in. I broke mine in on a long hwy trip at about 75 mph. I've been told mine is getting above average mpg.

 

16.2 around town with an 04 Hemi, after i got it, i took it to Florida, i was getting 23 mpg from New Orleans to Pensecola.

I spoke to to a guy who also has a hemi and said he got 1-2 mpg improvement using the K&N filter.

did you just put in a filter or a whole intake?

 

With my 4.7 I am getting approx. 15 around town and 21.5 on the highway.....put a KN Filter in and it did help....increased it about 2 mile per gallon....Kent

17.4MPH 40%Highway, 60% city driving on 87octane (7500mi on ODO).

 

With no modifications to my 5.7 I'm getting 14 around town and 22 on the highway. My plan is to put in a CAI within the next month. [sm=smiley20.gif]

never check it just put 437 miles on it since last week when i bought it yeah i know i drive alot the wife and i share a car. i only run 89 for now till i get the superchip programmer or hypertech im leaning more towards superchip as of now then ill run 94. at least now i only have to fill it up every friday instead of every day like my 12gallon srt-4
