Default 2004 Durango no brake lights

Hi all, new to the forum and I have a problem. I have a 2004 Durango and today we noticed that the brake lights are not working. When I turn the headlights on the taillights come on but nothing happens when you press brake pedal. I don't know if it is a fuse because I can't find a diagram for that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well I took the brake light switch off and tested it using an ohmmeter by checking for connectivity between terminals (something I found elsewhere on the internet). Everything checks out doing this so could it be something else? What am I missing? Thanks.

Some times they just need to be adjusted.

Well it was the bulbs. When i turned on the headlights and I saw the taillights working I figured it was something else. Problem solved, thanks for all the input!

Did both of them go out at the same time? If so, this happened in another thread and I would guess that it is very uncommon to happen at the same time......spooooky,
