Default 2005 Durango - Need some off road tips

I have had my 05' Dango for a few years and love it. Its towed me, the family, and 16' heavy trailer from coast to coast with moves and has not given me more than a dead battery. However, she needs some love.

So, I want to beef things up a bit. Put some new shoes on her, brakes, shocks, the usuall.

So here are my questions, I want to do some trail driving. Nothing serious the trails are mostly smooth, little mud, and no major obstacles to overcome.

1st - What shocks are people using? I have been leaning towards the bilsteins but not really sold yet.

2nd - After I install the readylift 2.25" lift, has anyone put a 33" set of tires on their truck? I want to do 33x12.5x20 Toyo MT's but not sure if I am going to have issues. Has anyone else run this size?

3rd - Brake recommendation? Pads and rotors.

4th - I got my rear bumper tapped by a person that was so nice not to leave contact details, so I need a new bumper. I want one of those steel plate style bumpers. I think it would really look good with what I want to do with the vehicle. I will need to replace the front as well.

Thanks in advance!

All of those questions have been answered in dozens of threads on the forum.

Bilsteins are a great shock compared to the OEM,

I think I will go with Bilsteins, Iron Bull bumpers will do both front and rear for $2800... ouch but damn they look mean, and one of the other members has 33" on his after doing the torsion lift, now just to decide on a brand. The nitto trail grapplers look pretty good, they Toyo Open Country's are about $100 more per tire so.

Fascist, I have seen you recommend the Diablo Predator tuner alot on other threads, I am trying to find a good place to buy it, any recommendations.

Another option for the 2005s are the SCT tuners. Hemifever@aol.com, Sean is his name, has them for around $265 or so, complete with tunes. Have one for my wife's 2006 4.7 V8 and it really woke it up. Normally they are very expensive, but Sean has special deals for us Dodge Forum guys.

Alot of guys seem to like Nitto tires and Diablo has a section on their site for distributors. I got mine from an engine builder in Pittsburgh,
