Dan:
It is easy to hang a fuel gauge on the rail to see if you have pressure. Another poster had a similar issue, and found that grounding the pump ground wire let theirs start right up.
There should be a FP relay under the hood in one of the power distribution boxes that would be the issue. Locate that, and then take a like relay from another spot and see if that fixes the issue.

Thanks Don! I am just now getting back to the forum after that post. Changed out the relay to no avail. They loaded it up on the roll back and took it to the shop to check it out and the next morning it cranked up. They hadn't worked it it just started up. It ran and drove fine after that until now.
Now I'm back in the same spot. Will not run, no codes displaying, the check engine light had not come on at first and now it is flashing when the key is in the on position. Again it is supposed to be loaded up and taken to the shop to be repaired hopfully.

That could be one of those needle in the haystack deals that takes forever and gives the shop and the owner fits.
While they have it, make sure they load test the battery and should it come back the least bit questionable, replace it.
At 140K, when is the last time spark plugs where installed?
A tip:
When it fails to start, carefully crawl under and pound a bit on the fuel tank. If it starts after this, then you are looking at a new FP.
Keep up posted and let us know how this turns out.

Alright , ran from the 17th of last month till now! They took it back to the shop on the 16th cleaned all the electrical connections and again it started, I did not get under it and hit on the tank like suggested yet. Acts the same as the last 2 times now. Wife drove it this morning no problems now it will not crank again. Super annoyed at this point. Thanks for all the feedback! I will try tapping on the pump next, I really don't want to load it back on the rollback just to have it start up again once they get it back to the shop. Really hoping it's not the pump I just put one on it from the first time it wouldn't start. On the spark plugs I'm thinking (past time) 40k miles, could that cause it not to get fuel though. INDY, CPS?
It's like it wants to run for about 2weeks at a time!!

Alright, here's where we are! Talked with a few folks and they suggested the crank position sensor, while changing it out I found that the heat shield around the wires for the sensor had shorted out on the starter wire stud and had actually melted it off in that section, not enough to get the wire though, probably 1 inch section. So now we'll see if that takes care of it, if not I'll replace the cam sensor. Trying to do these one at a time till I find exactly what the culprit is, this may be it! They are not expensive $31 for the crank sensor and $25 for the cam sensor. I knew CPS was either the cam or crank sensor, just wasn't sure which one, thanks FF.Thanks for the help everyone!
