Default Wet Seatbelts

For some time, every time it rains fairly hard, my front seatbelts in my '04 get wet (the part that lives inside the pillar. The only thought I had is that the screws that hold the luggage rack on were leaking, so I pulled them out, put teflon tape and silicone on the threads, and put them back in. But it still does it, and I don't know where else the water could be getting in from. Any thoughts?

There is an earlier thread about the sunroof drain lines being clogged and the headliner will be wet,

still means the drain lines along the roof are clogged. Check them all throughly.

Your best bet is to remove the B-post covers and do a water test and see where the leak is coming from.

had the same prob. in my 04 durango. with the roof rail off there is a plastic gromit with a rubber bushing that pushes in and holds the front of the rail down. i replaced that and at the same time added a little silicone on the rubber bushing. put it on the rail side first and then set it in. my prob. was solved. maybe this will work for u. simple fix and under 2$.
