That sounds awsome!!!! I have been debating about that setup and the magnaflow setup on our Durango. Do you have any other mods on the motor? Can you get sound of you driving, both at cruising speed and accelerating? I think that would be sweet.

Looks good too

You just made up my mind as to what I am going to do! Do ya'll think that will sound pretty much the same with the 4.7L?

I hope so!

I would love to do that same thing to mine. However, I don't think my wife and kids would appreciate the sound all the time, especially when the girls are trying to take a nap on a road trip.

It's not bad at cruising speed, actually pretty mellow. Like I said though I am getting new tips so the resonation will quit down a bit. The ones I have have create a megaphone effect right now.

I'm glad I'm not the only one out there with duals on a Durango. I have always owned trucks (long story) and had to put a cat back on my 2004 HEMI Durango. I used the Flowmaster kit but changed the muffler to the Super 40. LOUD! Sounds awesome but gives you a killer headache after about an hour of city driving.

Ihave a super 40 on my 00 4.7L and it sounds awesome....I;ll tkae a video next week. The sound bothers me more during highway driving. City driving is fine, but the muffler gives quite a bit of interior resonance between 1800 and 2300 rpm, which is right at highway cruising speeds. I can usually drown it out with the radio, but in the second row passenger side (directly above the muffler) it can get annoying (not to me but others ). Flowmaster gives the best exhaust note IMO

I installed the Magnaflow catback this weekend & it sounds pretty good also. I also installed the Volant CAI along with the Hypertech Power Programmer III . Now my D feels like a totally different vehicle, all these mods made a significant difference & I'm totally pleased with the results.
