the recharger kit is only used to clean the filter. Im just taking the filter off and using soap and water. not really a difference

Very nice. Also, (I'm new to CAI's if you can't tell) I hear that you should wash the filter every 7,000-10,000 miles. Is this figure correct?

not sure about that. my dad told me to just do it every summer.lol. so im goin with that since he's raced all his life
