Someone said they were looking for a short ram intake. I bought one from www.andysautosport.comWeapon R Dragonfor around $125 several months ago. I replaced thefoam filter for a K&N. The plus side is it has a place for you to put your sensor compared to the ebay specials. Just be careful the gromet falls off so don't put your filter on until you have your sensor installed. Also the mounting bracket really sucked so I had to make my own . Overalllike everyone stated it just piping that your going to slap a filter on. Later I upgraded to a K&NCAI and didn't noticea difference except for more room under my hood. Some people swear up and down CAI is better thenRAM right now I'm considering putting my RAM back on so I don't have to stress out about hydralocking. I live in a very flat area prone to flooding and have had some pretty close calls. As for the bypass valve it states on the package that it can cause a decrease in HP. HP costs $$$ I refuse to put anything on thats going to take ponies away.

Since I live in NW Indiana, and you live in NW Ohio, I assume our climates are fairly similar. Have you had any problems or "close calls" with your CAI? Do you really see all this hydrolock as a likely problem or is it mainly limited to those few that recklessly fly through deep water and then wonder how they sucked up water?

its a matter of being at the wrong place at the wrong time, it has happened to me twice, the second time i was able to prevent the engine siezing up on me. doesn't neccessarily mean you "recklessly" drive through deep puddles. IT CAN HAPPEN, VERY RARE OCCASIONS. i have driven through the rain a lot lately and haven't had problems, like i said, wrong place wrong time.
