KYB GR2's for a 2nd Gen wont handle a drop any better then the stock struts. Dont waste your money, just buy the Tokico HP Blues...as for springs, I only recommend Eibach, Hotchkis, and Tein springs (in that order).

You can find the Tokico Blues on Ebay brand new for $255 shipped...as for the springs, Titan Motorsports (Tein and Hotchkis) and Modern Performance (Eibach) to start.

Watch out when buying those Tein spring off of Ebay, theres been a huge deal about fake Tein springs being sold...it was so bad that Tein actually made a press release on how to make sure they were genuine, and to only buy from certified dealers. Doesnt mean that all Tein springs being sold on ebay are fake, you just have to be carefull...

my front struts were so worn out that when you lifted the piston, it just fell right back down with no resistance or pressure at all,. i'm pretty sure the rear are the same, i purchased the tokico blues and installed them in the front and the ride has really improved, i'm pretty sure that when the rear struts get installed it will be an even better ride. i in no way recommend wearing your stock struts out because you could possible damage somethin else suspension wise, anyhow the tokico's are a great mod that give you an awesome ride!

I have about 12K on my KYB GR2 and they still work great (for a KYB GR2) so they hold up OK(I have Vogtland Sport Springs).

I would recommend however the Tokico struts though from many user feedbacks on this and other forums. I got mine for free so that solved the issue for me.

From what I have read by some Kazera are H&K build like my Vogtland (So I have been told if they are not don't blame me) and I am fond of my Vogtland springs for a daily sporty driver. However for all out performance would probably choose (short of coil over systems) Tein S-tech, followed by Hotchkis. For the street then you have Hotchkis then the rest of the good ones Eibach, Vogtland, H&R, Tein H-tech.
