I will probably look back and realize that with all this naturally aspirated stuff, I could've gone turbo. But at this point I can't risk blowing **** up, and can't have my car down for too long.

Anywho, just keep at it. Scions are Total Crap

+1...including the scion part. lol.
Thats the only reason I don't have an exhaust right now...I just can't make up my mind.
Freerider, didn't you install your camshaft yourself? You should uh...give us a few tips?? lol

I have pics of the entire install somewhere on the forums if you do a search... or check out my photobucket (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v165/Woosh/?start=20)
I dont want to steal the thread.
I only have some moderate advice. If your going to keep the neon a DD, I wouldnt go over a comp 200 or a crane #0012. The reason I went with the Crane Cam #0012 over the magnum cam was simple. Its more of a turbo grind cam. I plan on turbo'ing the car, and I thought I would buy the appropriate camshaft. I noticed a major gain in power with my new cam. Dyno's and such are nice enough to me to back me up.
The install should take about 2-3 days if you do it yourself. Its not hard. The hardest past is getting past the plastic cover that protects the cam gear and belts from dirt and mud. After that the install is really easy.

daily driver...
I am most likely going to go with the comp 200. How much should a mechanic charge to do it? I'm thinking about $150?

Just an idea of whats involved: http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=14888&start=0
I've done it before in about 3 hours, but i've pulled these motors apart many times before... I bet a shop would charge you at least 5 hours labor.
