Its been so long ago I have no idea who I got mine from all I know is it was green than I painted it red and got it for 30 bucks shipped and my k&n I got for 20 bucks from oreilys locally. I just say get on ebay and look under intakes and youll find all kinds of ebay intakes just go from there and good luck.

 

so for a CAI, ebay or not, which K&N filter is needed? is it this one......http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RU-4950, or this one.......http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...px?Prod=E-1006. I currently just have a filter straight on the throttle body, so which is better. Also for the line that connects from behind the engine to the CAI tube, can i place an air filter breather there (behind engine), like i said, i have the filter straight on the TB so that line is just sitting next to my battery but i would like to place a breather there if possible.

 

They both will work I had both of them 1st one fit the best but the 2nd one fits ok but rubs a little so to be safe the 1st one is the one to go with.

mine didnt but it still sounds and works great i just modified it a lil from the wheel well i extende it down to the left front side of my bumper where the fog lights are on the SXT (i have a SE) it has 3 inch pipping from the front to the wheel well then it slims down to 2.5to the TBi even took the rubber tubing you guys been talki8n bout between the manifold and the TB and replaced itwit a 2.5 pipping...have you guys heard of any defects/advantages with the two sizes in one intake?? i know AEM does it right?? but i think it goes small to large not large to small
