AEM CAI vs. K&N CAI
well i had an ebay CAI for awhile the filter is crap but other then that not a huge diff..... i just bought and installed the K&N typhoon CAI and i love it. it looks great and is deff better quality then the ebay one sounds better and gave me a bigger boost then the ebay.also mounts better inside the engine then the ebay.
as for between AEM and K&N i dont think there is a huge diff they are both good brands.

I have an ebay CAI that seems to work just fine aside from the horrible rubbing sound it produces, but other than that I would reccomend the AEM over the K&N 100%. The AEM includes a bellows tube, which if you're going to pay over $150 for a CAI it BETTER have one.
thanks kalvera i got the stuff to do it but i've just been really busy. it's raining right now and i'm ****ting bricks. i really dont want hydrolock.
a bellows tbe is the accrodian looking plastic tube that conects your thorttle body to your intake manifold

I need a bellows tube... I guess I will put out the 150 sometime soon for a AEM (thought i have a K&N filter already) and it's better than the Ebay (my tube has a weld seam and all, not to mention I had to drill my own hole for the Vac tube

You can get one from your local autoparts store I got mine for 25 bucks locally and brand new and you should get a recharge kit while your there youll need it down the road to oil and clean your filter . Yeah I had the typhoon and hated it love my ebay intake with k&n filter way better and never had any rubbing problems . I had a injen in my acr srt4 . I hate aem and k&ns your just paying for the name.
