01 Neon R/T vs. 03 Intrepid

01 Neon R/T vs. 03 Intrepid
Well...a friend of mine from school has a Dodge Intrepid (03 I believe...and I think it has a 3.2LV6) and he pretty much think it's the ****. He says he has never topped it out but he says that it can go 140mph...and mind you he has no performance upgrades.
2 funny stories, beginning with what he has said to me. He found out that I am getting an '01 Neon R/T in a week or two, and he said to me the other day "I like how those look but they are really slow, my intrepid could smoke it." At first, I was like eh ok whatever not going to argue because I am not sure. His engine is a lot bigger, but the neon is a lot lighter. All I said was I think it would be a decent race...which is when he went on and on about how awesomely wicked fast his car is. Annoyed the **** out of me.
Next story...which is even more funny. Another one of my friends has an SRT-4...not sure what year. I personally love his car..but hate the fact that mommy and daddy bought it for him...pays for his insurance...and probably for his gas too. Anywho, thats not the point. The friend of mine with the Intrepid even thinks he can beat this SRT-4 in his car. I straight up told him when I heard him say this that he was a tard. He figures he has a 3.2L V6...of course it will beat a 2.4L 4-banger. No matter how much I talked to him about how much faster the SRT-4 is than his car, he still thinks that his Intrepid could smoke the SRT-4 without a problem no matter what the distance of the race was.
I know the SRT-4 would smoke his car with ease, but how would my '01 Neon R/T stack up against his Intrepid?

oh...one other thing that I forgot to mention about this kid. On his car (which he bought from his uncle) he has these Goodyear tires that have yellow lettering and say NASCAR on them...and according to him, it makes his car go a lot faster.

Oh yea. I took my truck to a nearby drag strip one day when they were having battle of the high schools (friend of mine with SRT-4 went as well) and he had told me that he might take his car so he could race the SRT-4. Well, he never showed up and the next Monday I asked him at school why he didn't go and he just said that driving like that makes your tires wear faster and since the tires on his car are really nice and they don't make them anymore he wants to make them last as long as possible.
105+tax/tire for mine (goodyear LS's)
