i ran mine on a desserted highway at like 2am with only me in the car and i let off the second i saw any hint of oncoming lights

 

I don't think its bad maxing out. I mean some people may be stupid. But I don't swerve in and out of traffic at 115mph. Its when I can barely see any cars. Its really not that dangerous....Taking your car to the track is a massive pain. I don't even know where any top speed tracks are either. It cost money, takes lots of time...why not just do it on the highway lol.

i've never gone past 105 and I shudder at the amount of gas i'd be wasting...

I don't know how you guys have the ***** to max out at 120 mph in the Neons. It takes too much time and space to get to that speed. The most I've done was around 115 mph then I slow down. I don't want to eat that ticket.

my car went from 100-120 in about 20 seconds. that not that long at all. well for a neon.

 

im sorry i thought the 1st gen rts cut have a rev limiter that cuts out at 130
and how do u go about taking it off?
