RE: Trans swap
Well, I did the research a while ago and here's the approx. realistic price quote without labor... from what i can tell it's approx 350-400 just for the mtx transmission itself with the PCM... i found a transmission for 65k miles for approx 230, and then the pcm from what i can find is all approximately 80 - 100... and we're talking about used items here. Add in the fact that you need to find clutch and cables and etc... which is probably gonna be about couple hundreds unless you get really lucky to find some that's dirt cheap. After that... if i'm not wrong (correct me if i'm wrong) you'll have to cut a hole in the chasis for the clutch pedal if you have atx. So if you're going NA for the long run then it's a good investment. As for me, i'm saving those toward one of those srt engine with transmission combo swap.

RE: Trans swap
really? dang... that could've been my motivation factor to get the mtx last time... i was so close to getting one... but then gave up because of the price and the fact that i have to cut a hole... which i don't have the know how or the equipment... but dang... maybe i should reconsider getting the mtx [sm=devilgrin.gif]
