There are a lot of parts you will need. From a pcm to shifter lever. You may has well stay with the auto, unless you have lots fo money to drop into your car.

on an 03-05 you dont need a new pcm, just a code cleaner to erase the "torque converter failure to lock up" or what ever.

as fas as I know you need everything from the trans, master and slave cylenders, clutch peddle, clutch plate and cables, ****er and shifter linkage

If I forgot anything, then let me know, the PCM shouldnt matter because you will now be controlling the shifts and the PCM wont, the onlything you might have to do is erace a code or 2

Right from the 2nd Gen FAQ:

Q: Can I swap in a manual transmission into my automatic Neon?
A: Yes, you can and will need the following: transmission (3.55 or 3.94), modular clutch, passenger side axle, clutch master and slave cylinder, shifter cables and clips, tranny side motor mount from a manual transmission 2nd gen, MTX PCM from your year car, shifter and shifter base, clutch and brake pedal assembly from a 2nd gen.

And Kalevra, its true that you technically dont "need" the MTX PCM from an 03-05 Neon, however, you will have a 6500 rev limiter with the ATX PCM as opposed to a 6750 limiter with an MTX PCM (and that extra 250 is quite important)...

Quick question, I'm planning on doing the swap myself down the road. Can I use a PCM out of a 05 to use on my 03? Or does it have to be strictly 03?

I dont know how much it would cost, But I am going to my local dealership and going to see if they could do it and how much all of it is going to cost. They should have all the parts brand new that you could purchase. So i should be able to have the info on manday.
