Just wondering what you people's opinons would be.. i know i'm getting a CAI but after thinking about it, i dont know if dropping the car would be a good idea.. roads in arkansas can get pretty bad.. so its either a 1.5" drop or neon under the car.. opinions?

 

I would say do the neons now and the 1.5 drop in the spring . I have red leds that are flexable and non breakable for my neon under carkit very nice and my drop is coming in the spring. But neon kits on ebay you can sometimes get good deals on there .I would go with the tokiko setup cost you like under 400 bucks shipped and will give you the drop your lookin for.

 

lowering springs, wouldnt do a neon under any car, not only red is illegal, but also would be afraid it could break,

 

Id do the lowering..underglow is gay in my opinion..and your roads could not be as bad as the roads um were i live, northern B.C Canada..were i drive to work..theres holes almost as big as my car, andit takes them forever to fix, its crazy. just my two cents

 

Hey with his ride red neons underneath would look awesome and get the unbreakable leds in red like my sxt has they are awesome and like nothing you have ever seen. Lowering may look nice but is crap for everyday driven rides unless you get some nice set of coilovers like I am. I would do both swimmer with your ride both are needed. The neons 1st and than the lowering in the spring.

 

well unlike yall i thought the same thing i was in a dilemma so i just jumped for springs when evilcreations.com's josh koch hooked me up wit a new pair of lowering springs they aren't great but they do what i want them to do and make the car look good. i think like 96ACR* neons are crap unless you have a good drop. but it is up to you to make the decision.

 

I think your both wrong about neons they look good on any show ride or cool lookin ride like swimmers and goes with his color theme. My ride looks awesome with red neon leds and I only have them on in parking lots or at night shows. I get alot of awesome attention from everyone around here . Still think you should go with the neons now and the drop after all the snow cause a drop and snow dont go well at all.

thanks for all the opinions.. i'm with airwolf on the neons.. i like them and think they'd look good.. but i go to school at UCA and the roads in conway can get pretty damn bad.. so we'll just have to see when christmas rolls around..
