Default Kirk racing header R/T 2001

Hi There
All ready buy a kirk long tube header for my neon 2001 R/T
What happen if I connect direct to the tube (direct with out the catalityc)?????
or I need buy a catalytic to??

You don't need a cat...nothing will happen other than CEL light that does nothing but look ugly. It will be loud though.

if ur state doesnt require smog testing den u dont need da catalytic converter.

What a bout the rear section mufflers.
what brand you recomend??
a borla system
or the rear section only Thermal R&D??

After market exhausts on neons are a waste of money imo...especially when you start cutting midpipe

That's just my opinion. You're not going to notice huge gains with an exhaust on an N/A neon...and then to start cutting it up to fit LTH, glasspacks and mufflers?

Keep the stock piping. Add a long tube header. Keep your cat. Possibly add a glasspack. Keep your R/T muffler.

+1 if u want just add a rear section to open up the bottle neck from the midpipe to the rear section

Pull off the R/T and replace it with the SRT exhaust.... but if you have the cash to spend... then I say the Borla... I had a friend that went with the Borla headers, and exhaust... it sounded great....
