engine codes help
ok, heres the deal.
i have a 2000 with a 5 speed 99,000 miles. 2750 miles since last oil change. i have not driven this car for 1 month. today i start it and it dies right away. i start agian, no problems, but the engine light is on.... i drive it like 5 miles and come home, i just wanted to take it for a spin. its popping two codes:
P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
P1684 Metering Oil Pump Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
should i disconnect the positive side of the battery to reset the computer and see if it happens again?
what do these codes mean?

P0340 is for the cam sensor and P1684 is battery disconnect code. Replace the cam sensor and use a scanner and clear all your codes.
