max boost??

Default max boost??

so i changed the fuel pump to 255 lph but rest of the fuel system is the same...anyone know how much boost i can run before im lean?? any help appreciated

R u running bigger injectors too? , what about a return line system?? fuel pressure regulator?? if non of those are present, maybe two pounds before the computer shuts down.........

well you should worry about teh internals not being able to handle the pressure first befpre talking about going lean. mayne 8 lbs safely i think. check the turbo sticky

10 lbs is the max on a GREAT tuned 2.0, eight is safe......

but if he does not have aftermarket injectors the fuel will not go in fast enough, and the injectors will shut off trying to dump more fuel in when into boost, causing the car to lean out before internal wear out

its 2005 srt4 stock injectors fuel rail, only thing changed is fuel pump

The question should be, how much boost can I run before I break my internals. As far as running lean, that's secondary to your internals. It's hard to say when you'll start to run lean. It depends on your mods and your car. The best thing you can do is get a Air/fuel wideband gauge to see your air/fuel ratio.

You can turn it up until...

1. You max out your stock internals. Usually around 240-250wtq

and/or

2. You lean out from not enough fuel. I would not suggest running a A/F ratio higher than 11.5:1

and/or

3. Your EGTs get close to 1500 degrees. i would not suggest any hotter than that.
