01 NEON R/T NITROUS?????
I like all the nitrous talk from people who've never owned it
My friend has a 100 shot on his stock 08 vet
But well. It's a vet.
A 35 shot is really small. I think if you were hard on the button it could mess something up quick
I'll be getting a bottle when I find a good enough price

In theory they both work in the same manner, so one is not more safe than the other. Both are extremely dangerous if not tuned properly.
To the original poster, if you provide enough fuel to compensate for the added oxygen then a 35 shot will be fine on your motor.

IMHO. no. Nitrous is NOT safer than a turbo.

My nephew has a 250 shot on his 454cid Nova Drag car. I've hung around him and helped him mess with it enough to know a little bit about it,LOL. If your engine is in good shape you could probably get by with a 75 shot without any mods but once you hit 100 shot you'll need to take some timing out and run a size cooler plug to avoid detination. All No2 does is provide air for the extra gas you're pumping in to burn. It's really the extra gas that's making the power, not the No2.

there is no I in team. it's the combination that produces the power, not a single attribute.
if you run too rich you lose power
if you run too lean you lose power
if you run JUST right. you gain power. it's the combination that works. if you use only more fuel you will not make any power without more air and some goes for the other way around

just because you haven't owned it doesn't mean you don't know how it works, what it takes to work, and what it will ruin.

I understand what you're saying BUT it is the fuel that's burning that makes the power, not the No2, all it does is give the fuel the air it needs to burn. Wether you add more air with a super charger, turbo or No2 in the end it's the fuel making the power. Air, in any form, by it's self won't burn and it'll make Zero power, fuel is where the power is at.
