I'd like to get a club started in TN. but even though we've got so many Neons running around you can't swing a stick without hitting one it seems like no one is really interested. [&o]

Yea I would love to start one here in R.I. but its hard getting an event together when no one really has time anymore for anything. I would love to see a meet up here somewhere.

A big problem is that the majority of Neon owners are either female college students or grocery getting house wifes,LOL. Not many of us "Tuner" guys running around in Neons.

Hey, I'm an "old fart",LOL. Well, 46, not really old but not the "classic tuner" that you'd think of who'd drive a car that they want to build to go faster.

come on now. I have a wife and two kids to think about. I love my 05 sxt. And the way gas prices are going I'm sure youll see a lot more people driving these cars. I have a 2000 Dodge avenger es sitting in the driveway and all it really needs is to finish putting the half of the motor I took out to do the altenator. LOL. But the v6 was a pig. So no hurray as of yet. Putting it together slowly but surely.

I agree with you, alot more people will want our precious neons, with their great gas mileage.
I was actually really thinking about getting a 2004 r/t but then my dad was telling me that hes going to get a r/t and a srt8 challenger, yes both. His plans are for me to take the r/t and he keeps his srt but with these gas prices and that 9 letter wordinsurance I'd never aford it.

Back on topic if any wanted to start a neon meet in the tristate area i'd be happy to join.
