cops here in kentucky have an in car camera.its mounted directly on the dash and if you fly past him it will auto clock you.i should know because im going to be a cop in 2 years and ill have an accociates degree in criminal justice next year.as far as rear im sure the new cars have it but not the old ones.i went down a hill and a cop was comming at me and his in car camera was able to clock me 15 over.im sure other states are different too.also as far as aradar detectorgoing off while a cop is driving in front of you thats either his front mounted system or his rear IF he has it.....
i have a friend that is a state trooper in AR (arkansas, not arizona) and he took me for a ride in his car once and they have something mounted on their dash that can pick up the speed of an on coming vehicle and then i kept watching it and it picked up that the car was slowing down after it passed us (it was late and no other cars were coming).. so i'm guessing he had front and rear mounted.. cause he wasn't holding a radar gun.
i wonder how many states have the mounted radar while driving.it just sucks because if you fly around then a cop can get you if hes on a side street or basically anywhere.
I know for a fact that State Cops in Va have rear radar guns...I work for a local Ford dealer and part of our company is the police stall department. I have worked on many a State Trooper car that has rear radar and in Va it is not illegal for them clock you while they are driving... Tried to argue that one in court!
Are you in Ohio? Thats where I am...I know someone who got a ticket on a 25 and he was going 43 and it only cost him 90 bucks. I'm not sure how much mine will cost. The price isn't on the ticket. Does anyone know how insurance will work out for me? I turn 18 in like a few days. I heard that when you turn 18 your juvy record goes away and the permanent comes in. So does that mean I will get my points taken off? Which would mean my insurance really won't go up? I'm confused lol.
