Default Front License bracket

Just purchased a 2002 sxt Neon for our granddaughters' high school graduation.....Bought a vanity plate for the front but discovered it has no bracket for a front plate. Nor, any evidence of any ever being there....Does any one on this forum know of the procedure of installing one? Does one simply drill holes into the front bumper?
Thanks ahead of time..!

yea thats what everyone does around here you can buy a holder for the license plate but you still have to drill holes into the bumper for it.

if you wanna preserve the bumper by not driling holes you can always use magnets

I bought a $5 pack of 3M double-sided Velcro tape... that way I can just rip the plate off and throw it back on if I want, but more importantly I didn't want to have to drill more holes in the bumper... it's been abused enough already.

Here in Ohio you have to have a front plate. You dont need a bracket and here its best to be screwed in tight cause if it falls off or hangs automatic ticket.
