Guess you never know till you try, if the difference is really noticeable (and bother's you) you could always put it back on with some 3M adhesive if you don't want to respray. Glad I did mine when my car was less than 6 month's old.

i took mine off last year, so that woulda mad it 5 years old, and there was no variation in the paint. btw i don't park in the garage so its always outside. minus one winter when i had my 84 cutlass.

As an alternative to taking them off or getting them repainted you can just buy the cf b pillars, they are less expensive than having them repainted.

Do you mean cf design on the side moldings? on the doors? I think that would look kinda weird.
