Well about 11:15 last night I awoke to a car alarm, My wife has a caravan that sounds the same when the alarm sound. Wasnt sure which one it was, so I grabbed both sets of keys and hit the disarm, was the wifes van. So I went out to investigate and first thing I saw was my wifes passenger front window was pulled out of the frame at the top, it was leaning about 5" away from the van. I realized I was standing in glass so I turned around to find my drivers window broken out. looked inside and the dash was opened up with the stock stereo, and a dash mounted Gps i had in there missing. Called the Sheriffs dept and they came out 2 hours later, saidwe were the firstof 5 calls in our area of cars being broken into. the last being a stolen 05 caravan which is the same as my wifes. I assue they were going to steal my car but something chamged their mind, cause the seat was adjusted all the way forward for a short person. They did however neatly place the remainder of my window on the drivers seat for some reason.

 

dude that sucks, i hate theives. Will insurance cover it? Hope they find them and torture them painfully.

 

I have had my car broken into so I know how you feel. Good luck getting it fixed.

 

03neonrt also had his yellow SRT broken into as well. They broke his wondows even though he left the doors unlocked.
And inthewerks also had his 18 chrome rims stolen too. Alot of people has these problems and it really sucks. are you getting another stereo and gps?

 

mat that was adionik and he had a regular neon with srt parts. 03neonRT has an rt. I know who it feels cause they busted my trunk open and stole one of my amps. About 3k worth of damage.

 

Happened to me too man, same guys hit my car three times in a row until I literally caught them and nailed their asses. I know how frustrating it is. Do yourself a favor and keep an eye out a few weeks from now... they know that the insurance company will probably pay for you to get nicer **** than what you had, and they will come back for it... trust me.

 

Luckily, I haven't had anything happen to me with my neon. I hope nothing does happen. There isn't anything worth stealing...except my rims, headlights, stereo, carbon fiber hood, 2 12's...oh nevermind. haha...but seriously, i hope it never happens

 

Thats F up! Hey get yourself a gun and keep it by the bed ready to go if you hear any noise. Also teach your wife how to use it and be ready to use it.

 

(This darn forum) Antway I was saying Did you notice any strange people around your house before this happened? People dont usually run up in peoples yards and steal stuff unless they know the people or know of the people.
