I was playing around with your idea dt and its not going to work. I will just make a little cubby hole for the license plate where it is now to get rid of the plastic holder. Some of the plate will stick out into the opening but if i go to shows i would just remove the license plate.

 

well, i have mounted it and just bent the plate... top part of it, and then u would never see it...just bend the peace of the blue on ur plate like were the mount wholes are... then that would u get the clearence so the plate would not be seen when it was in the up position...

 

well either that or i would send u a pick of my bumper bracket.... but that is kinda top secret...lol

 

Well i can get stuff cheap at troops creek cuz my dad works at a dealership so i get their discount. haha. I'll let you know when i'm home. I have to come back for sure in september for inspection.
