i want to replace my stock air filter and housing with K&N. can i save money and just buy the tube, clamps and filter seperate at a local store? how would i hook up my air line from previous housing and sensors?
only thing with having your own tubing, if you're in cali, the aem, k&n, injen, etc. all have a CARB exempt sticker that is required if you're getting a smog check. the inspector will not pass you until you have that sticker or put the stock air box back on. Other than that, the ebay CAI work well with a good filter
