under 1800 miles on the oil, the stuff turned to black water and drained like water or WD-40 when it was 30 degrees outside, and was blacker than tar.

On a car with only 4000 miles on it and has ran great ever since for 4 years now on different oil. Filter was okay too when that happened.

RP is used recycled oil???thats what i heard
oh and its 8 bucks a quart and mobil-1 FS is 7 bucks

Recycled oil? LOL. Seems people "hear" many interesting and untrue things... The only way you can get used motor oil for your car is if you buy re-refined oil (which is not very common and usually costs more than new oil). Other than that, none of the recycled motor oil is used again in engines.

Again though, RP is about $7 quart (as you have already stated earlier as well). Mobil1 has gone up in price recently too from what it was.
