I pretty sure this thread is where I downloaded the one I have... unzipped it makes like a whole bunch of PDF files right?.. all labeled for the different areas?

I was trying to look up some things about exhaust and it didn't help me...

looking for the size and length of the bolt for the exhaust heat shield...and it doesn't say... just kinda tells HOW to do it

 

They are repair manuals; not parts lists If you go to a place like RockAuto, it will usually break each area down with a number and part for each area of the car. Also, that is how the PDFs work. You unzip them and each section is in its own PDF.

 

All the links I tried while going through this thread were dead.

 

I just tried them all, and in one click, they opened right up to the correct page.

 

I guess I should say that the link opens to a page with a picture of a Neon. On the page it says free service manual. When you click on download I get "Firefox can't find the server at pdftown.net." Maybe it's me.

 

I tried to download it, and it told me all of the available download slots were full. I'll try it again later. I too, am using Firefox.

 

BTW, I tried downloading the manuals again. Worked fine.

 

Thanks for all the help darthroush! I just purchased a 2000 neon (my first car!). This looks like a useful forum I will follow.

I was able to download the elec. manual, but I to had trouble with the other. I am able to open the blogspot page, but neither of the download mirrors work. No bug deal, just wanted to confirm what some other users found.

I've checked the links every single time someone says they cannot get them to work. They've worked every single time I've re-checked them. Try a different browser or check your security settings?

EDIT: I wasn't going to check them, but I did anyways. Still working. There are directions on the page on how to save them as well. Perhaps that is a problem for some.
