Smile srt-4 brakes and timing belt UPDATE

just got the rear set-up to swap it in instead of my rear drums. i'm looking for some stainless steel brake lines also. i'm wondering if the front lines are the same on the srt and my se, so i can order the whole srt lines set.
also, for the timing belt tensioner, can i swap a 03-05 mechanical on my 01 hydraulic, is it a bolt on?

you should be able to use the SRT kit on your SE. there shouldn't be any difference really.

yes you just have too cut the plastic so it sits flush with the block or just buy the covers for a 03+ from your dodge dealer it is under $50.

who did u ask? dealer mechanics are not gonna tell u if it can be done or not. i know the blocks are the same, don't know if there are threads for the bolts to hold it.
DT, i got it on e-bay, there's a guy that always has them. i paid 220. didin't got them yet, hope by the end of the week. heard on 2.gn some people had some problems w this guy/seller. i'll se what i get and keep u posted.
anyways, i'd still like some answers for my questions if anybody knows for sure^^^^^^

i used to work for dodge. i still keep in touch with a few of the techs and the service manager. so while i was up there getting my w/p and timing belt changed thats when i asked. yes both tensioners look the same, but they opperate and are mounted differently.

i know they are mounted differently. but the blocks are the same. that means the location for the mechanical tensioner is there. just wondering if there are threads in the block for it. cause if there are, there's no reason not to work.
