You can beat a few cars with a regular neon with the right bolt ons. I use to beat Honda Si a few mustang V6's, with just bolt ons such as a header, cai, wires, plugs, and a 2.5" cat back system, oh and a grounding kit for the electrical system. Now with a SRT I can beat alot of cars, and even more now with my bigger turbo, but thats what cool is its still a Neon. They are so underrated, most dont think a Neon could be that fast, they responed very well to bolt on mods. And cops are gerks anywhere you go.

 

lol i dont race my neon...its a neon! i have a dodge charger r/t done up a bit..and the killer is my friends 2003 cobra with a whipple charger...its a beast...

 

You hit and miss with the r/t sides maybe lucky to find a set at a dealership just have to look online or ask your dodge dealership or even on ebay .

 

So my sxt was just a neon and I raced it, same with the SRT-4 its still a neon just one with more kick. What kinda of power is your friends cobra making?

 

Im getting my sxt some bc coilovers just the best drop and slammed look ever. In my op racing is so hard on any ride even with the right engine mods. Showing is so much better in all kinds of ways.

 

If I had to guess, it's got to be about 500+ if not 600+, depending on the tune and other mods...

 

last numbers i saw was 613 whp and 591 ftlbs of torque that was like 3 months ago...its been done since...he lost his hood on the free way racing an r6 lol

 

first of all.... for all of u saying that lowering ur car makes it slower... it is called center of gravity.. it is a very simple concept the lower ur are the less body roll, the better handling u will get...


oh yeah, and cars u can beat with a neon, lol, lots... cameros, mustangs, vettes, evos, wrx, bmw m3, want me to keep going???

cruizing > bitching... i like to cruize also showsxt, just because my car has nuts, does not mean u have to be stupid.... and scaring people that r walking down the sidewalk with my bov always makes for some fun laughs.... LOL...

We all have are hobbies mines showing both my neon and other show ride and some have racing if I ever get me a real racing ride my grand national than I would be into racing. Plus it would help if my hand and arm was better right now Im driving with one hand and arm.

 

na i know neons have patential to beat fast cars... but u have to put so much into it to make it fast... u prob have a **** load of mods on ur neon lol... its pretty sick but sometimes i wonder if its actually worth it.. it prob makes u feel alot better beating faster cars wit a neon though lmao..
