Default anyone?

did anyone who had their neon lowered have a resolution fo rthe bottoming out?

i had my 2001 R/T lowered 35mm on SPAX springs and it bottoms out a lot, i put some spring spacers in to help it out but not a lot of difference really, would a second set of bumpstops help?

My sxt is lowered and I sometimes bottom out because of the mopar front lip and my sxts lowered on mopar stage1 springs which dont lower much at all. I would say its all what your lowered on.

I have tokico hp blue struts and eibach sportlines and i'm not bottoming anything out you just need to avoid pot holes and when your entering some kind of upgrade or downgrade take it at an angle not straight on. My car sits low so if i'm not bottoming out i'm sure you won't either and btw i don't drive any slower now then i did before you just have to pick you lines on the road just like racing.

hey I have an 05 neon and a set of brand new hotchkis springs, now I was told that the hotchkis springs wouldnt lower the car on the stock struts. So I tried to find some srt4 struts. Now I found a set of rear srt struts and im thinking of just lowering the back because thats what I really find to be too high up in the air. Do you think this would be possible, and if so would it cause any problems? Thanks

I had wondered the same thing, but I've been told the whole set drops the front and back accordingly. The car itself actually has the rake look to it, not just the factory suspension that does it. The spring set pretty much evens it out. As for the struts, lowering the car on them can cause premature wear and failure, so it is best to upgrade those at the same time. Great springs to buy too. Those same ones are on my list.

Aftermarket, you have the very common choices of Tokico HP's or KYG GR2's.
