Default lowering the neon

i been thinking about the next mod to do to my car... im thinking about lowering it or side skirts but idono how pricey and how easy they are to install... but idono to much about lowering a neon with 16inch rims... is this guna cause any problems for me? how are the good things about lowering a neon besides looks... i also been thinking about adding headers but idono if its worth moding the **** out of my neon... i mean i like doing it but it seems like a waste of money cause its so hard to make these cars keep up with any other car on the road.. lol.. let me know what u think.. thanks..

I have 16inch rims and tires and Im dropped on stage1 springs which dont drop much seeing I have the mopar lip kit . I bottom out alot so anylower would be crap. Im lookin for my next mod to get some bc coilovers . But I would actually get some r/t sides for your ride and some prokits for your drop very nice drop and cheap.

I think that's it... it's all looks... it sure ain't gonna go any faster... you'll actually go slower trying not to bottom out or scrape... ride will be worse also... but you'll look really cool going slow!

Going slow is better and safer than going fast. I love to show my rides off not into the racing thing at all. cruzin around is what I love to do.

slow=boring, fast=fun...its knowing where to do it.. street racing friday afternoon horrible idea.. track always safe.. around here there is a strip that cops know street races go down every sunday night at 12 but they dont care cause its safe sometimes they watch.

Actually showing off your ride is more fun than racing anyday. I get alot of people saying nice ride when I go to carshows and just around town. A drop gives your ride extra points at a carshow . Also to the person who wanted to know about srt springs yes it lowers a sxt just slightly just like my mopar springs better than stock springs you have on your sxt.

I've thought about it... but have kinda dismissed it

..for one thing, on the wheels and tires... I started out with the stock 14" wheels w/hubcaps!... so i'm perfectly happy moving up to custom 16 inch wheels

The other thing is I've read sooo many posts on lowering;..which springs/struts to use..people constantly telling everyone else they have to lower thier Neon... and then the majority of people that did lower either say well I just have to go slow and avoid all the potholes, or else say I got so sick of going slow, I went back to stock suspension

(oh and the side skirts are the hard to find MOPAR ones that they clearanced out at the Dodge dealers.. just one of the lucky ones back a year or more ago that was able to get a whole set, front, rear and sides for about $168... beleive they are all gone from the dealers now)
