cruizing > bitching... i like to cruize also showsxt, just because my car has nuts, does not mean u have to be stupid.... and scaring people that r walking down the sidewalk with my bov always makes for some fun laughs.... LOL...

Like I said everyone has there own hobbys me I love to show my rides and others like to drag race theirs.

only thing i dis like about the superchargers is the whine they produce...but man its a ride...

lol, i do have a ton of mods in my car, (built bottom end is on its way as we speek) but the face of people in there v8 mustangs, cameros, or the m3, exc.... that i ran this year is soooo worth it... they all think it is just a neon, they are right.... it is just a neon that smoked ur 35k+(meaning bmw) car... LOL

lmfao true dat... do u do all the work to ur car or do u pay for labor? also how many miles do u have on ur neon?

Well me I probably have the most for miles I think in this section. My sxt has almost 161,000 on her and my husband does all my work on my sxt I help a little when he needs me too.

Totally agree, its funny to see their faces, old school or new school cars are fun to beat with a neon. I thought it was funny when I first bought my srt and beat one of the new twin turbo bmw's and I only had a w/g and bov. Hey dtjackten what trans are you planning on runng with your set up? If you dont have one save up the money and get a used srt one off ebay, that way you can have the equal length drave shafts plus the posi, plus its way stronger then the factory one in the reg neons. just my .02

i do all the work myself... check my progress log, that will show u all the work i have done... it is a long *** list, but the progress and times speek for itself.. 13.89 three years ago in a quarter. (since adding a bigger turbo, and intake, along with new fuel system) prolly in the mid to low thirteens now.


matt, i am going to be running my stock trany, but i want to get a lsd for it, prolly quilfe (can never remember spelling) should work, the srt trans are not easy to swap over from what i have read and can turn into a project... others have told me my tranny will hold 400hp, guess time will tell though huh??

yea really, I thoguht they would cross right over since they are the same body type, thats wierd that its a project. Good luck on getting into the low 13's I know I was happy when I did and could stop smileing when I cracked a 12.8 on my old set up cant wait to see what my new set up turns in the 1/4
