definately doesnt gain 20hp. not even 10hp
maybe 1-3hp..

also, dont forget that your gains will be greatly diminished due to the NGC in the '03-'05 neons.
What's NGC??? I'd have to agree with the horsepower, if someone told you 20 hp I'd like to know what they were smoking lol. I also heard that it gets raspy, I would just stick with the R/T if I were you...look for an aftermarket exhaust

NGC= Next Generation Controller
its the computer that the '03+ models use. it tries to keep the power output at the stock level. sux dont it?

So you're saying the great engineers at Chrysler made it so that when you put performance parts on you're not feeling the full capacity of the part??? lol but they do have aftermarket comps for the 2g right

hey i put the dual monza exhaust on my 04 sxt and i love it.. i looked at a bunch of different exhausts and found the monza to be the best.. my bf has flowmaster on his blazer and its really loud my exhaust at times will be louder than his. i dont know if your into the ricey sound or what but if not then look into the monza.. its not ricey at all its deep and throaty i love it

Nope chud...they don't have any computers released for us yet. I don't know if they are planning to either. I'm not sure its as bad as what everyone says, but I would agree it definitely does try and run at an optimal level which is not necessarily good for seeing gains for mods.

theres basically only a couple ways to get around the NGC.. reset the computer often.. or go turbo/nitrous.

tho, naturally aspirated mods will give you some gains, but not peak.. it kinda spreads out the power across the rpm range.

btw.. the monza exhaust.. you are referring to the pacesetter right? not ricey? i beg to differ.. that exhaust is quite ricey imho. raspy at WOT. ive had it on my 1g, and have known several people with it on both the 1g and 2g. hate ta get on ya about it, but im just being honest.

Ive heard from ones that have the srt exhaust on there sxt and they said it doesnt lose horsepower. I have a auto so it may be a bit quieter.I want loud and louder than the ricers around here I dont want to get a ticket alot of people have told me its not that loud as what everyone thinks. I get some horse power with my rt exhaust .I just want my sxt to look more like a srt thought I would get the exhaust and spoiler which i got for 75 bucks shipped.Just dont know what to do.

ok yes the pacesetter.. and i dont find it to sound ricey at all. i hate rice burners so why would i get an exhaust that sounded like that.. whatever it your opinion mine honestly doesnt sound ricey.

I've heard resetting it often doesn't work. As in it learns and eventually stores things in the memory so its still there even if you reset it. I'm not sure there really is a way around it, turbo/nitrous seems to work decent with it from what I've seen.
