Check the oil pressure sensor. Mine was leaking like crazy a qt every 300 miles. You can just reach your hand around back of the head and feel if its all oily on the sensor and know pretty quick if thats it.

Mine wasnt loose but just leaking through the sensor itself. Goofballs that replaced it for my daughter broke the one I mailed down to her to put in. Finally did it myself to make sure it was done right.

My sensor was about 2 turns from falling out of the block, with pretty much no sealant left on the threads. Though, with probably about 2 or 3 actually in the block, it wouldn't have done much good. I put extra sealant on the new one.

If the car is not leaking oil, it is blow-by somewhere in the engine, which will make it's way out the exhaust. Worn/bad rings are a common place for that to happen on higher mileage, or abused, engines. That's why you can just buy re-ring kits for engines. How many miles on the engine, and how many miles do you drive a week? Do you drive those miles spirited?
