AFAIK, most full-CAI kits come with a solid tube to replace that factory piece too. It only moves because it is rubber, and well, the design of it lends itself to movement.
EDIT: Just checked the measurements of it...get a 5" long by 2.5" round piece of aluminum tubing (exhaust tubing comes to mind), a couple of 2.5" couplers, two hose clamps and you're done.

ever price out those 2.5 inch silicone rubber couplers?
darn things arent cheap for what they are

well i already picked up the new one from advanced auto and the rubber is alot thicker and stiffer so this one shouldnt tear.

No they're not. $5-$10 each depending where you buy 'em.

local performace shop here wants 15 bucks a piece since u need 2 thats 30 bucks for a couple of sections of hose lol

LOL, $30 plus an inexpensive piece of tubing is better than the $70+ for an OE replacement piece.

thats why I got mine at the boneyard 20bucks flat for an OE replacement (still keeping an eye on it tho)
