This is the gauge I used http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=477596_0_0_
Also had to get an adapter for the line to fit in the block that was about $5. I didn't use the pod, just used the driver's side AC vent. Also good to have a couple feet of hose to protect the nylon tubing from engine bay heat. It cost me lass than $30 to do it.

Thanks for the advice guys! I think I might just go the route of installing a gauge.

That would be the best option. That way you know if your oil pump is taking a dump or if it's just stupid electronics. Good luck!

03 Dodge Neon SE 2.0 liter. Any chance you remember what size fitting that was? I need to do this with the mechanical guage myself because having warning lights alone bothers the crud outta me. Light has been on for months since I bought the damn thing and I've already changed the oil, wanted to do the next easiest thing and change the pressure sensor till I read your post about putting in a mechanical guage. Having the guage would either fix the problem by telling me my oil pressure is fine or tell me that my oil pump is going out. Also once I do how do I take the oil light bulb out? I'm a first time DIY guy. Didnt really have a dad to teach me any of this so I'm figuring it out as I go. Thanks in advance!
