But what would be the fun of buying a srt4 when you can build your own turbo neon get more wows out of that.

If you buy a kit for your car, you can keep what you've got.

I actually have a friend that swapped an srt-4 engine into an sxt. He bought a totaled srt-4 ( just wrecked in the back) for 3 grand. Then he pulled the transmission and motor and harness and ecu and did the work himself. He also menthanol injected it and its so sweet. But it would cost a lot more if you couldnt do it yourself. Plus you always run the risk of buying an engine that was run hard or a tranny the same. I would like to do it this summer but well see.

that kit will require some custom fabrication to get to work.

800 in parts
$$$$ labour and reinventing the wheel

I assure you that you can get plenty of "wows" modding an SRT.

Yeah but you get alot more wows if you have a sxt or r/t or a 1st gen turboed that you built yourself instead of buying a srt4 thats already turboed from factory and you have alot more fun also doing so.
