Some people say you can't do it.. It would cost you a pretty penny even if you could. SRT Engine, Transmission, Computer, and a Harnass. You're looking at an Automatic to manual transmission change to which if you want the interior to look good you're gonna have to put some money into that. I would it would be cheaper and easier to buy the SRT-4 and then do the cosmetic swaps(From SRT-4 on the back to Neon SXT) That's gonna be your best route.

You can do it. Not worth the time or money though; just buy one. Search for SRT swap and you'll find several threads about it if you really want to pursue it.

Maybe megasquirt but I think a srt swap or a turbo kit would be your best bet and dont listen to ones who say but a srt instead of doing the swap much more fun to build your own turbo than buy a srt4 in my op. Im still thinkin about doing the turbo swap but with a pt turbo.

Well I know someone that has a turbo in his 02 and you can try to pm dtjackten his one of the mods in this section but not on here much. He has a built turbo not a srt turbo swap . I actually lookin at the kind of turbo he put in I think is a agp one.

DT also has a built engine. You can get into the mid-200HP range IIRC on a factory 2.0L. Whatever 8psi will get you.

I bet you could pick up a fixer upper SRT-4 for 6-8 grand and sell your non-SRT. I got mine stock, for 10k, but it's in great condition.

Check www.AutoTrader.com
