Losing oil
I thought about using the filters and decided on another idea, just waiting for it to dry to try it out. I had a medicine bottle, RTV, steel wool, pens, a 5 hour energy bottle, and some clean hose laying around so I did a little redneck engineering and came up with this:
The duct tape is only temporary til it dries and I paint it. Then I'll get some A/C repair tape as a sort of heat shield.

kinda reminds me of a bong we found that my buddies little bro had made.. Prescription bottle, metal bodied black marker, couple steel pipe fittings, and a little tinfoil.

Yea this thing looks illegal for sure lol, nice work. My girlfriends car is in rougly the same situation here, except I can smell oil burning off the engine on long journeys, as if I had spilled some onto the hot exhaust, or something similar, even a bit of smoke.
