01 Neon fouling spark plugs
Hey guys, this is my first post so please bear with me. I have a 01 neon with the 2.0 liter. It is 100% stock. Four times within the last 2 months, I will go start my car to go to work and it will fire and continue to turn over and hits every once in a while. So I usually drive my other car to work when this happens. So a few hours later I pull the plugs and clean all the fuel off of them and it fires up. But it will not start until I clean the plugs. What I mean by that is, I can't try it in the morning and then 8 hours later, it will still be fouled out. I hooked up a genisis and all the sensors seam to be reading fine. Coolant temp is spot on, map sensor is working fine and I also pulled the fuel rail and none of the injectors are leaking. If you have any ideas, that would be great. Thank you.

Plugs and wires were replaced last sat night. I have not checked fuel pressure just because it seems to be getting to much fuel. I can check it tomorrow. Would that cause my problem? Two more things, it only does it when its 30 or below and the fuel pressure regulator has been bad for about a year (have to prime the pump with key to build pressure when sitting for few hours). I don't know if that helps

i dont have the same pluggs issue as you but i do have the same problem of if my car sits for a day or two or awhile i have to prime the fuel pump pretty much just wait three-five seconds before i turn the key all the way, never bothered me much cause i didnt mind the short wait and if you drive it daily it dont do it but i always kinda wonder why it dont hold pressure over time but not anough to investigate it, so hopefully somebody knows, cause i would like to know that answer.
