Default 2003 neon se isnt firing

Finally got the car running right until one day she just wouldnt start. Went through the process of checking the timing belt even though its basically new. Got codes indicating i needed to change both the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors and did so.
The car turns over but wont start. Checked the spark plug wires and found that there was no fire. Checked the coil pack and same problem..no fire. Im having trouble affording a pcm or even reprogramming the old one for that matter. Wasnt sure if I should continue assuming its the pcm or look into something like a relay or ?
There for almost two weeks before this occurred i had to jump start my car almost daily and didnt know if maybe i fried the pcm in the process or what.
Any incite would be greatly appreciated..

What codes are you getting? And why did you replace the belt?

Also, have you checked the ASD relay and it's wiring for corrosion? Not uncommon back East.

People replace the valves often because the timing belt breaks, and I've yet to hear that be the cause of the computer not working afterwards.

Well yeah there is no direct link (or any connection really), but I have it on good authority that Chrysler is in the employ of Satan.

edit: I was just making a joke. I had just rebuilt an 01 Neon a few months back, and I had similar no starts after completion. New coil, new sensors, everything, but still couldn't get it to start. Well, turns out the SKIM/Computer was no longer working and/or locked the engine out. I still have absolutely no explanation as to why the computer went out, seeing as it just sat in the shop the whole time, but there it is. Hopefully that isn't what you need to fix your car (who even owns a DRBIII?), but that was what did the trick for me.

Now, the SKIM randomly not working anymore is not unheard of. No idea why it does that, but it does. It's not specific to working on anything either. Some people just go outside one day to start their car and that's it.

Thanks for your replies. The belt had been replaced before i bought the car. I know its good because it was one of the first things i checked. I havent checked the relays yet but will do the asd/horn swap idea when i do. I will also try unplugging the cables on the pcm and check for oil or corrosion. Not sure what it could be beyond that except the pcm itself. Wish me luck. I love the car and its been torture being without it the past four months.
