2 Brand New Mounts Installed
Hey Guys, Got 2 brand new motor mounts installed on passenger side at the top and also 1 at the bottom passenger side the other 2 seemed fine mechanic stated to me.
He put them on took his time everything installed correctly and they are on firm no play at all when the car is in drive theres still a little bit of a vibration shake. I know my vehicle has 146 thousand clicks already but im just curious is there anything that can be done to get rid of the vibration or is it just the way it is.
I asked my mechanic and he told me the mounts are on correctly properly installed its normal to have a little vibration?
I have no idea if hes trying to pull a fast one on me but im not sure anymore
I put brand new ngk wires brand new champion plugs gapped at 35 fresh engine oil with lucas oil treatment cleaned throttle body replaced TPS sensor all has been done from my knowledge
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks a million!

Vibration come from many sources.
The mounts will get rid some but not all.
You probably don't need to replace the engine mount (the middle one). I said that is because my upper/lower torque struts were cracked, but the middle one was okay (it cracked a little but it can still be use).
I replaced it anyway. It's an aftermarket engine mount. It give me more vibration than ever before.

Once the torque struts go bad, the motor mount go can bad faster. If the motor mount cracks, it's going to likely loose the hydraulic fluid it is filled with that helps reduce vibrations. That, and aftermarket motor mounts aren't fluid-filled so they won't offer the same vibration reduction an aftermarket one does.

When I replaced the engine mount with the aftermarket one. Both were only rubber in the middle.
The aftermarket one has more rubber (hard rubber).
